Excellent on all levels but I'm partial to the bedside manner and professionalism of Dr. Gallo. Harbor is so happy now and was very well taken care of on such short notice! I appreciate everyone that helped my baby and will be bringing my other cats here too!

In the midst of having to make one of the hardest decisions in my life I feel that it was made with staff members who actually cared. Unlike the jackals that run one of the local ER vets when decisions are made under this roof it is done with the utmost care and respect for the pets and the owners. I know that my little guy Vega is at peace after a rush death sentence diagnosis of heart failure was made and rather him suffer unbearably even he knew he could go in peace under their care. To see the lobby lights turned off and candles lit for him made us feel better in such a miserable time. We are still and will be for some time completely heart broken but we were able to make the tough choices and spend as much time as we wanted saying goodbye without the priority of a bill being shoved in our faces. We are forever grateful 🙏 Goodbye my silly little shadow And then a week after we received a sympathy card signed by the entire staff 🥺 THANK YOU ALL .. From death we adopt new life ... We rescued 3 little girls born just after Vega's passing.. I joked with the tech that this was 2nd batch of 3 kittens he had helped me out with in 15 years... Galaxie, Skylark and Cheyenne thank you... we thank you and we appreciate you working with us. Its a big undertaking to take these babies to the vet and every penny saved helps.

I’ve gone here a few times here’s what I experienced. Hours - amazing, longer hours/days could avoid expensive ER visits. Staff - amazing, the staff are super nice and very helpful. Availability - I’ve gotten appointments the same day or the next day without issue. From what I can tell they don’t overbook so wait times are almost non-existent. With all good there is bad, here is the negative. Cost - By far the most expensive vet I’ve been to. My last visit the vet explained what they wanted to do and when the tech came in with cost a 170 dollar shot was added to the cost that the Vet said nothing about. When I asked what it was for the Tech didn’t have much info and said I put her on the spot. But who am I to question professionals so I agreed. Well that shot made my cat very sick. Being a disabled Civil Servant money is tight so I couldn’t take her back in to get checked out after going way over budget. Thankfully I nursed her and she’s doing better. Exams - During COVID it became common for your pet to be taken in the back alone for exams. While most clinics got rid of this practice, Cottage still does it and this is my biggest critique. Our pets are already scared. To take them away and do god knows what out of my sight is a massive issue to me, especially for a simple exam. I’m not saying there is foul play but when I can’t see what’s happening it could be a thing. All in all, I have no intentions of going anywhere else, if they agree to see my pets after this. I have high standards and my experience may not be yours and I still recommend them highly.
