Pet Health Certificates Services
A service we offer to our clients is a certificate of veterinary inspection, commonly known as a health certificate. There are two kinds of credentials: international and interstate. International certificates are written for travel from the United States to any foreign country. Interstate certificates are used for state-to-state travel within the United States.
Because each country is different in the requirements you must meet to bring your pet with you, it is your responsibility as the pet owner to know what each country requires before your travel date. Some airlines also require special conditions to be met; check the airline you are flying with to ensure all requirements are met.
Our Hospital health certificates’ prices vary depending on whether we are writing an interstate or international certificate. All health certificates (unless otherwise stated by the country/airline/state) require an examination by the veterinarian that must be scheduled with our office Monday-Friday. We cannot write health certificates on Saturdays.
To facilitate this process, ALL of the appropriate paperwork must be filled out and brought to our office at least 72 hours PRIOR to the required examination by the veterinarian.
In order to certify your pet is healthy to travel, we require the forms provided by USDA-APHIS, the governing agency that all health certificates must be approved through.
